Acceptance of gay, bisexual, lesbian and intersex people is, unfortunately, a pending issue for the majority of the world's population. Although it is true that, especially in the European Community, policies and legislation in favor of the collective and social equality have recently been developed, there are still parts of the world where homosexuality is punishable by death. As examples mention Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Mauritania, Sudan and parts of Nigeria and Somalia. We cannot forget that in a total of 71 countries they are still sentenced to prison terms, life imprisonment or sentences involving physical punishment. Despite the fact that the Spanish LGBTIQ+ culture has crossed borders, there is still an arduous task for the general population to normalize legally acquired rights internally. Ibiza prides itself on being a world benchmark for tolerance and diversity through activities that reinforce the visibility of the collective, where LGTBI-phobia and hatred have no place.
